Thank You

I am extremely honored and humbled to have been elected to serve in the Iowa House. We overcame many obstacles to reach the finish line. First we were victorious in a district that leans democrat, running against a long term democrat incumbent, and in a year there was a democrat title wave. On a total grassroots campaign.

I know that there is no way I can express the gratitude that my family and I have to all the volunteers that spent countless hours stuffing envelopes, door knocking, making phone calls, walking in parades, assembling bags to hang on doors, putting up yard signs, spreading the word of our campaign to their friends and family, and the unbelievable amount of prayers that have went up for us all across this state and country. This is truly an undertaking that we could not have taken on without all of you. Everyone has been asking how we did it.

There is no one thing we can point to. It is like this big jigsaw puzzle that God put together before our eyes. It was truly amazing to see it unfold before us. And this has been such a growing experience for our family we have all been forced out of our comfort zone. And many of the volunteers did not know us a little over 7 months ago when we started this journey, but I have seen you embrace my family and help us along the way and that truly was the most amazing experience of all. We have made so many new friends and these are relationships that will last a life time. I just wanted to let everyone know that we appreciate all of you more then can words can express.

My family and I are just as committed to working for this district as we were to winning the campaign. I am honored and humbled to serve this district and state. And I would like to hear any issues or concerns you may have so please contact me.
